Principle Chosen
The agile principle which resonates me is the 8th principle that focuses on the aspect of agile processes that promote sustainable development. The agile processes can effectively guide these sponsors developers and the users to be able to maintain a constant pace indefinitely. This particular principle has focused on sustainable development which means constant production of software features during a long-lasting period.
Major Barriers of Sustainable Development
The major barriers that are obvious in terms of achieving the aspects of sustainable development with the context of agile processes are relevant in terms of achieving business objectives. The use of unsustainable equipment and software which may affect the environmental risk can affect the sustainability principles. Adhering to the sustainability in the allocated budget and dedicated resources to implement the sustainability principles requires heavy investment and the barriers can be observed based on the caused benefit view point. To execute the Agile projects, it is effective to focus on the fact that only associates in the projects are superficially aligned (López-Alcarria).
Ineffective communication amongst the stakeholders in the project can be a speculative barrier in the implementation and achievement of the prospects of sustainability development. It is obvious to mention that sustainable development focuses on the constant production of the software development which is like running a program and it needs to be constantly focused on in order to keep up with the other team members. It is also coherent that the amount of time and effort that these stakeholders invest in the development initiation has to be a constant during the entire processes in order to maintain the stable aspects of the entire project (Mathiyazhagan). The stakeholders in terms of understanding the accuracy that are needed to perform the software effectively. The new version of change at every regular interval must be focused on the deployment of the processes that enhancers the need for constant productivity during the whole project which substance the need for the advisability of the sustainability principles of the Agile Software management.
Used Principle in Practice
Constant and sustainable development is also responsible for enforcing creativity within the team members a such that they are not stressed to the maximum aspect to deliver the functionality. Accordingly, I witnessed, that the development a team must be able to produce software that is immediately tested and used by the end users without tracing the unmanageable amount of subversion (Pinna et al.). On the other hand, it is effective to concentrate that the user community is able to give the development team direct feedback on the new version that has been delivered and create valuable software in a combined team. In my workplace the execution of the agile projects has been done constantly aligned with every stakeholder. The participation of the stakeholders is significant with the prospect of constant sustainability.
